Duty List

The main role of the Establishment Division is to carry out the administrative duties of the officers serving under the District Secretary. The following duties are also performed by this division.

1. Issuing free railway warrants.
2. Conducting training programs for officers.
3. Making the list of jurors.
4. Matters related to retirement from the service.
5. Matters related to service extensions.
6. Matters related to new appointments.

1. Administration and supervision of Divisional Secretaries.
2. Election duties.
3. Assistance and contribution for functions of the government.
4. General duties and matters related to discipline of Grama Niladharies.
5. Appointing graduate trainees .
