Role of the Accounts Division

• Chief Accountant     :-   Conducting the duties of the Accounts Division.
  
• Accountant               :-   Conducting the duties of  the Accounts Division.       
• Financial Assistant   :-  Supervising the duties of the Shroff Division and the duties of other officers.

	Preparation of annual financial statement.
	Preparation of annual performance report.
	Preparation of annual expenditure and revenue reports.
	Distribution of annual allocations to the District Secretariat and Divisional Secretariats.
	Payment of  special advances, festival advances, and distress loans related to the Government Officers’ Advance “B” Account, and making  the Advance “B” Account relevant to the District Secretariat and Divisional Secretariats.
	Management of duties related to pension payments.
	Duties of General Deposit Account.
	Distribution of imprest received from the Treasury to the District Secretariat and Divisional Secretariats.
	Making payments for all vouchers.
	Maintaining CIGAS accounts system.
	Maintaining ITMIS Accounts System.
	Maintaining duties related to stores.
	Maintaining the NFAMS information system.
	Maintaining all procurement activities.
	Maintaining GPS (Government Payroll System).
	Duties related to government auditing and internal auditing.
	Duties related to board of survey of District Secretariat and Divisional Secretariats.
